Shoe designer Steve Madden apparently likes to hang out at his new LES shop and harangue customers. "Me and Christina were being obnoxious outside this Steve Madden shoe sale at Rivington/Ludlow. A guy n white tshirt studies us and when we decide to go in, even tho we hate Steve Madden, he follows and hounds us with phrases like 'I know you are tough customers but we are trying to reach people like you.' Finally Christina has had enough and says 'who are you anyway, Steve Madden or what.' 'Yes, I'm Steve Madden.' We could tell by his facial expression he was either honest or a great actor.
