MIDTOWN WEST—Rumor has it that Nike is interested in the former HoJo's space in Times Square. The possibility that a big-box retailer, "like a Niketown," was floated in Times piece about the site back in June; and now we hear that what was speculation may actually be truth. [RackedWire Inbox]

MIDTOWN WEST—A curious reader writes: "I saw some construction workers moving supplies into the Hearst Tower retail space on 56th and 8th. Anyone have any idea what will be opening there? It has been vacant forever!" Have ideas/suggestions as to the identity of the space's new tenant? Leave 'em in the comments, or email them our way. [RackedWire Inbox]
