Ahead of C. Wonder's impending closure, Mizhattan stopped by the brand's Flatiron store for a survey of what's left, all down to 75% off items' lowest marked price (akin to sample sale prices). Shoppers were snatching up tableware and home decor the most yesterday afternoon, causing long lines at the register. As for apparel, silk blouses were going for $32, while navy tuxedo jackets were $62 and skinny jeans were $30.
Online shoppers should be aware that discounts aren't as high as those in the store, and e-commerce will reportedly be shutting down at the end of the week. Meanwhile, the New York stores should still be open for a couple weeks longer—Soho will be the last to close, acting as a liquidation center for merchandise from all three locations.
