The couple behind Greenpoint boutique Wolves Within has reopened their sister home goods store, Home of the Brave, just a few doors down. Though the store popped up for a little while last spring, the permanent shop will operate at a new location, 146 Franklin Street, Bedford + Bowery reports.
Expect stock to be similar to what was at the original pop-up—Brooklyn-made pottery, kitchen wares, blankets, and pillows—with the addition of new rugs and a collaboration between Home of the Brave and Greenpoint ceramicists Small Spells.
The timing, however, couldn't be better: When we spoke to the duo earlier this year, they explained that home goods are always in high demand before the holidays: "Customers always wanted to see what we will buy for home, and we wanted to do a version of Wolves Within as a home store," co-founder Max Vogel told Racked. "Bethany and I bring in home goods for the holidays, what we can fit in the store. We started finding more and more objects—we were like, 'Where are we going to put lamps? Where are we going to put pillows?'" (Luckily, that shouldn't be a problem anymore.)
