Looks like Brookfield Place won't be occupied solely by huge luxury brands like Tory Burch, Saks Fifth Avenue, Hermès and Salvatore Ferragamo. The Daily News reports that two local boutiques, jewelry company Satya and indie children's boutique Babesta, will join the mix of retailers when the luxury mall fully opens in March 2015.
Though Brookfield Place is already more than 90% leased, Babesta and Satya have managed to find 1,725- and 554-square feet, respectively, in the remaining space. And for its Brookfield Place outpost, Babesta will bring together its two existing stores, Cribz and Threads, for a larger children's lifestyle shop.
"We realize we are the baby brand amongst a luxury who's-who," Babesta co-owner Jennifer Cattaui told Tribeca Citizen, "but Babesta brings together some of the biggest creative spirits and talents in children's. We knew we needed to be here."
