Back in August, The Daily News reported that Microsoft was looking to open a flagship store at 677 Fifth Avenue—just a few blocks south of the Apple cube. And today, the software giant has confirmed its plan to keep its enemies very close.
There's no word on when the two-level, 8,700-square-foot space—currently occupied by Fendi—will open, although corporate vice president David Porter says it will be "worth the wait."
