Brooklyn's Gateway Center has been amping up its cred as of late—the shopping center that's home to the likes of Target, Home Depot, and Bed Bath & Beyond recently added craft store Michael's to that list, and the borough's first JCPenney opens its doors here on Friday.
And the news just keep on coming—yesterday, TJMaxx opened a 33,000 square-foot store (sister brand Marshall's is already here), and Sephora will open a 2,200-square foot shop-in-shop inside that JCPenney. Shoppers who get there early on opening day have the chance to receive a gift card and a bag filled with deluxe samples.
