The Proenza Schouler sample sale is open to the public right now, but a Mizhattan tipster made it into the friends and family sale last night. She told the blog: "This was a really good sale. There were a gazillion gorgeous bags ... Bags $399, clutches $199, pouches/wallets/iPad cases for $99. Hopefully, they will put them out for the public portion."
The tipster also found denim styles for just $25, though speckled jeans were $75. True samples ranged from $29 to $199, while regular merchandise was 70% off the retail prices.
For those of you thinking of hitting up the one-day sale, remember that what was there last night is likely already gone, especially when it comes to bags. At the last sale in December, our reporter found just a single bag left at the public sale—in orange python, no less.
If you're headed over to 76 Mercer Street before 6pm tonight to check out the stock, let us know in the comments section if you find anything good!
Update: More on those bags.
