Just two weeks after Blessed Peacemakers announced it was closing up shop on Ludlow Street, another store has followed suit. Bowery Boogie writes that vintage shop Portia & Manny is shuttering after just two years.
There's no word yet on if they're planning another location, but a sign tacked to the store directs you to the barren website with instructions to join the mailing list.
Portia & Manny shared an address (151 Ludlow Street) with Blessed Peacemakers. Both shops dealt with their fair share of issues—like obtrusive scaffolding from nearby construction sites. Blessed Peacemakers moved in in 2012, replacing Dolce Vita, and Portia & Manny took over what was previously Some Odd Rubies. Prospective new tenants may want to think twice.
