The Jonathan Adler warehouse sale officially kicked off this morning, moving from its former Brooklyn location to 260 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. If you just landed a new apartment, feel like a spring spruce-up, or really like flasks and candles, this sale has your name on it.
The sale is super organized and easy to navigate: Price lists are hanging on the walls and posted throughout—all in Jonathan Adler's signature font—and there's a ton of staff keeping things really tidy. Prices range from $10 for a small paperweight or soap dish to about $2,000 for a piece of furniture.
First, let's talk furniture. Everything on the floor has been evaluated by Jonathan Adler and his team in order to come up with the right price. Something that looks practically new will cost more than its identical twin that's a little banged up. Pieces in really good shape include a silver-grey sofa for $2,000, a round wooden table for $600, a deep blue velvet daybed for $1,750, and a Louis sidechair for $750.
Fans of Jonathan Adler's signature pillows will have a field day sorting through the three tables filled with cases in an array of prints, ranging from $50 to $75. Nearby are candles for fifteen bucks a pop, and jars with labels like 'Calorific' and 'Viagra'.
Pottery and dining accessories are also popular. We saw a really cool owl bowl for $125, a peacock tray for $75, a bird pitcher for $50, and mugs for $10. The smaller tabletop accessories are stationed near the $10 paperweights and flasks.
Towards the back you'll find throws for $150, bath accessories for $10, children's storage for $35, and picture frames for $30. When we were there, the selection of lamps was rather small, but there is additional inventory on most items (including furniture). New furniture won't be brought in until space clears up, but the smaller items will be replenished.
If you plan on buying a piece of furniture, the Jonathan Adler team can arrange delivery for $150 and up, unless you'd like to pick it up yourself—just be aware that a;; furniture must be picked up within 24 hours.
The sale runs until Saturday at 7pm. Click through the gallery for tons of photos, and see the dealfeed below for all the details.
