Flywheel Sports is in major expansion mode to compete with some of the city's other well-known indoor cycling boutique studios. They opened their Tribeca location in December, and the Lincoln Center studio that will also include Flybarre is still underway. They'll be offering barre classes on the regular at the Upper East Side outpost (instead of just popping up), and their Chelsea flagship studio will be opening later this year.
And if that's not enough going on already, Flywheel be expanding their class schedules to offer more time to cycle—and/or plié—at all current studios. We're breaking a sweat just thinking about all the work they're doing.
All this new stuff comes an increased price tag—but only slightly. As of April 1, single classes are bumped up two bucks, to $34, while five-class packs are up $10 and will cost $165. Ten classes bought at once will be $320, up from $295, and 20 classes will be $600, up from $545.
The same pricing applies for both cycling and barre classes, and since classes don't expire until a year from the purchase date, consider stocking up now before that increase hits.
