Remember the mini but mighty frenzy the Peter Pilotto for Target collaboration caused when it first dropped on February 9th? Madison Avenue Spy is now reporting that the line has hit the clearance racks at 30% off in several New York City-area Target stores.
There's a plethora of theories out there as to why this collaboration wasn't as hot as some previous ones—many point to the British designer being a relative unknown stateside, as opposed to some previous collaborators (like Missoni). Others cite collaboration fatigue, especially at Target, whose clothes are usually of a lower quality than at H&M.
But if you're still thinking about the collection, there are several pieces to be had. The strapless red iris-print dress that starred in many a campaign ad has been reduced to $65 from $80, and the light blue print and striped sweatshirt is now $21, down from $30.
In accessories, the red iris-print beach towel is $17.50, the black and white printed sneakers are $21, and the red floral print bikini top and bottom are $12.50 and $10.50, respectively. If you're headed to a local Target today, let us know what you find in the comments section below.
