Maybe brick and mortar e-commerce is the new pop-up shop? Menswear online retailer Bonobos is the latest to join the luxe crowd at Brookfield Place, opening their third Guideshop in the city. The most recent addition we heard before this is Diane von Furstenburg.
"We recognize Brookfield Place as the new cultural destination for Manhattan residents and visitors looking for a taste of the best brands," said Erin Ersenkal, the VP of these shops. "The premier shopping hub will enable Bonobos to reach a terrific customer who works, lives, and plays downtown."
In case you haven't visited their existing stores—on Crosby Street and West 25th Street, respectively—here's what you can expect: A variety of their offerings, ranging from casual jeans to office wear, will be on display. A sales associate will help you figure out what you want in terms of fit and style, and then you can order your stuff in store and expect delivery within one to two days.
In short—you won't walk out with a shopping bag. Expect the shop to open in spring 2015 along with the rest of the high-end stores.
