Skincare brand Kiehl's is preparing to open their first Brooklyn store Friday. The store, at 124 Montague Street in Brooklyn Heights, will feature a permanent photo booth and their new SkinProfile diagnostic device, which is like a smartphone that reads your skin and recommends treatment. They'll also participate in the company's Recycle and Be Rewarded program, where empty Kiehl's jars, bottles, and tubes can be recycled in store and exchanged for complimentary products.
To celebrate the opening, Kiehl's is hosting a party at the shop Friday, January 31st from 4pm 'til 5:30pm. There will be a DJ, refreshments and treats from Brooklyn companies, and a skate clinic by Homage Brooklyn Skate Shop & Sake Academy. As a welcome gift to the neighborhood, the beauty brand is donating $5,000 to Friends of Douglass/Greene Park for the park's continued refurbishment.
