When most brands open a pop-up shop, they celebrate with one or two parties—something to mark the grand debut, and maybe a farewell when the two-three month stretch is over. However, when BaubleBar opened its temporary Greene Street space this June, they made a decision at some point to become the busiest pop-up shop Manhattan has ever seen. In honor of their departure tomorrow, we've rounded up just some of the events, parties, and collabs the pop-up has participated in over the past dozen weeks or so.
In the first half of July alone, there were five separate events hosted by everyone from PopSugar to Unicef (and that's excluding happy hours and cocktail events, of which there were three—plus an intern mixer at the end of the month). They also found the time to collaborate with DKNY, Shoptiques, Misha Vaidya of By Misha, DreamDry, Cuyana, Loverly, and guest bartender Harley Viera Newton.
Other events that month included an evening of style tips with women's clothing brand Refine and a party with Eva Chen. Were you hungry at any of those? There appeared to be complimentary snacks available every time we walked by, and at one point they also installed a Luna Bar vending machine.
August also saw its fair share of shindigs: a party with blogger Krystal K of The Fiesty House, another with The Style Line, and a NY Tech Meetup. (There was also a special promotion with Snapette.)
Then they kicked off a sample sale, which wraps up, tomorrow. What better way for the brand to say holy shit we're tired goodbye than with $15 earrings?
