In case you didn't get your fill at the five sample sales hosted between Helmut Lang and Theory earlier this season, the brands are throwing one more, starting Monday at Clothingline. Theory for both men and women will be available, but Helmut Lang will only have women's product. Samples—in true sample sizes—and slight irregulars—in all sizes—will comprise the merch at the joint sale.
Why head to this sale if you've already picked through the others? Starting prices are stellar (these are samples and "slight irregulars" we're talking about, of course). Example prices—well below wholesale, we were told—include Theory women's dresses for $65, Theory men's pants for $50, and Helmut Lang sweaters at just $45.
Theory women's offerings will include shirts for $45 (from $190), pants for $50 (from $275), dresses for $65 (from $295), and blazers for $85. There will also be tees, sweaters, skirts, outerwear, leather, and more.
The Theory man will find a $495 sportcoat for just $100, pants for $50 (from $195), and sweaters for $50. Tees, shirts, outerwear, and more will round out the offerings.
In the Helmut Lang section, ladies will find a dress that retailed at $320 for $45, a $415 sweater for $45, and pants also for the magic number—$45. Tees, shirts, pants, skirts, blazers, jackets, and leather will also be available.
