Welcome to sandal season: for the next three months, it's going to be way too hot to wear closed-toe shoes, and you're feet are probably going to be too swollen for that anyway. After the jump, we rounded up nine stores in New York City worth shopping for sandals—and since summer shoes have a habit of getting worn out on the sidewalk, at the beach, and in freak afternoon rainstorms, we've kept the list realistic. (We left out most of the high-end boutiques that you'll find on our map of the best shoe stores.)
The list include favorites like Matt Bernson, Shoe Market, and Sigerson Morrison, as well as budget-friendly chains like Aldo. Click through to see them all, and let us know any of your other favorite spots in the comments.
