Push those Williamsburg rumors aside: sounds like J.Crew's first Brooklyn presence will be in Cobble Hill. The Real Deal reports that the retailer has signed a ten year lease at 151 Court Street, near Pacific Street. The location is close to other national retailers like Trader Joe's, Barney's Co-op, and Urban Outfitters.
Sources close to the deal say that the company has picked up 2,349 square feet each on the ground floor, lower level, and second floor. So, yes, this means that Brooklyn's first J.Crew is a multi-level J.Crew. Based on the neighborhood, it would make sense to offer men's, women's, and childrenswear in the location.
