J. Press York Street, the sister line to preppy label J. Press, debuted its first New York City flagship so suddenly, its own head honcho didn't realize it had opened. According to WWD, the store will have its official launch at 304 Bleecker Street after Fashion Week, but it "quietly opened the doors this weekend."
At the brand's presentation yesterday, Creative Director Shimon Ovadia told the paper, "We didn't even realize it had opened." Now that it has, expect to find an interior that's inspired by the ivy league culture of Secret Societies, and, as the website explains, an "exclusive and historic vintage feel."
