Hurricane Sandy was especially brutal to the Rockaways and the neighboring community of Breezy Point, which lost over 100 homes in a fire. To help, Williamsburg cooking supply store The Brooklyn Kitchen has been collecting donations like canned goods, tools, and winter clothes since yesterday.
So far, the drive is going well, and it's not over yet. This morning, store managers set off on one delivery run, but they'll be accepting more donations until 8pm tonight. Check out their most-wanted list after the jump, and bring all goods to the store at 100 Frost Street.
