Last night, the New York City Ballet honored Valentino at its annual Fall gala. As part of the celebration, the designer created costumes for three ballets and a pas de deux.
Unlike the Rodarte costumes from this past spring, which were simple and modern, Valentino's costumes are wildly romantic, with cascades of ruffles and pops of his signature red. Above, they're modeled by the ballet's principle dancers.
