We got so many good nominations for New York City's hottest trainer that we couldn't pick just 16. Here are the final contestants; voting starts tomorrow.
Our last contestant is Hollywood Hino, who trains at both Trinity Boxing and Mendez Boxing. He's been practicing the sport since he was a teenager, but took a break early in his career to focus on several other things—among them were acting, modeling, and party promoting. During that time, he also coached a little league soccer team in Queens, and hosted a fashion show where all of the proceeds were donated to children in Africa living with AIDS.
He couldn't stay away too long, though, and returned to the ring to win his first professional fight with a first round knockout. (Which we're sure delighted his financial backer, Jay-Z.) He's been a boxing instructor since 2006, and says that his workouts include conditioning exercises to improve athleticism. He adds, "Working with me makes my clients realize what they can do, so the dedication comes as a result of the motivation." But it won't be easy. "I will push you until the point that you think you hate me, but in the end, you know that you've gotten results, so you'll be back for more."
