Yesterday, Daffy's announced on its Facebook that it will be closing all 19 of its locations, to which 139 people (and counting) have commented back. Garment District Diva spotted the farewell, which begins like this: "So many of you have contacted us to say that you can't believe Daffy's is going out of business. To be honest, we can hardly believe it either. But we've been bringing customers terrific bargains in fashion for more than 50 years, and we're all hunted out."
Mostly, the responses are pretty similar—loyal customers declaring how sad they, combined with the question, "Where am I going to shop now?" One fan went as far as to say that she was losing her best friend, and several proclaimed that now they'll have nothing to do on their lunchbreaks. And for the record, our own post announcing the news has its fair share of comments, too, with one guest asking: "Is there a reason to live and shop?!"
