This Thursday and Friday, Of a Kind will be setting up shop at 150 Varick Street for a sample sale "roadshow," which will feature nearly 30 designers and discounts of up to 80% off. As they've described it, it's going to be "massive," "ginormous," and "king-size."
Some of designers on hand will include Mary Meyer, Timo Weiland, Lindsey Thornburg, Tucker, Wool And The Gang, Yestadt Millinery, and more. The sale will take place inside of Wieden+Kennedy's showroom space, which had a sample sale of its own about a year ago. The ad company explained: "A lot of people have been wondering when we're going to do another SHOP event—consider this one SHOP 1.5 until we hit with the official sequel this summer!"
Wondering what to expect from a roadshow? We're imagining it'll be something like last summer's Of a Kind sale at the Ace Hotel, which included one-off offerings and regular merchandise from designers like Thomas Sires, Tucker, and more. For a complete list of designers at the sale this time, head here.
The sample sale invite also mentions that Wieden+Kennedy and Of a Kind are planning a trip to the Salvation Army, and they're asking shoppers to donate their old clothes in order to make room for lots of new ones.
