Joe Fresh really knows how to make a first impression. For one thing, the new flagship is huge. The beauty section on the second floor is like a candy store for product: three for $10 nail polishes in loads of bright spring hues. What we liked best: Everything is super affordable. How can you beat $8 tees and $19 jeans in fun colors?
When doors opened at noon, a lengthy line stretched to Sixth Avenue. We're told people had been waiting outside since 3am. The store handed out free $100 gift cards to the first 200 lucky, tired customers in line. (Better than winning the lottery?) This afternoon the store was still packed with people shopping to—ahem—freshen up their spring wardrobes.
The store has launched a huge social media push to attract customers. If you check in on Foursquare using your phone today, you can receive a free lipstick. Earlier today, a limited number of shoppers who shared a post on Facebook received a free makeup palette. Follow @JoeFreshNY and check out their Facebook page for more special deals.
Also, tomorrow, starting at 10am, the first 200 customers into the store will receive a free beauty gift after spending $50 or more.
