Excited about The Nets moving to Brooklyn? Then you'll probably be really excited to learn that Adidas plans to open its first Brooklyn shop at the new Barclays Center, where it'll sell official Brooklyn Nets merchandise—you know, the merchandise that Jay-Z is helping to design. The Post reports that Adidas has signed up to open a 4,000 square-foot store when the arena opens on September 28th.
The store will be located on the concourse level of the Barclays Center, but in case you don't feel like traipsing through the stadium, it'll also have an outside entrance on Flatbush Avenue. Nic Vu, VP of retail for Adidas North America, has extremely high hopes for the location: "No other place in the world has such a unique mix of basketball-influenced sports and style culture. We're bringing the best of Adidas to Nets fans." We're sure Jay-Z concurs.
