Sure, there's pretty much a bodega on every block in Manhattan, and if you need a copy of The Post, The Times, or The Wall Street Journal, you'll have no problem finding it. But what if you're looking for Vogue Turkey? Or how about Tank, Encens Annual, Numéro or Elle Korea? Fortunately, there's the international newsstand, otherwise known as the magazine deli or the Place With the Fancy Vogues. It's not quite a bodega, but it is a New York City staple that's just as important as the corner store.
We've put together a map after the jump of 12 of our favorite magazine hotspots. Some are large chains, some have websites you can order directly from, and some are so small they don't appear to have phone numbers. Click through for our guide, and if we've left out one of your favorites, leave it in the comments below.
