Looks like the rumor was true: Tiffany's is getting a store exactly where we thought it would be—Soho. And guess who we have to thank? The tourists! Yahoo reports that our camera-happy, map-holding friends from outside of the city have "played a major role in its strong results in New York and elsewhere." So to say thank you they're getting a store, a third for the company in New York.
We even have a location for where all the upcoming ring shopping and blue-box gifting will take place. MarketWatch says it will "occupy a floor-through space" that will take up two locations: 97 Greene Street and 106 Wooster Street. The only date we have so far is September 2012, which just so happens to coincide with Tiffany's 175th anniversary.
