Downtown Brooklyn might be getting a "high-end supermarket" or an "upscale furniture store" soon, as plans to revamp the Municipal Building will soon be underway. The decision to turn the building into a shopping destination came about as an effort to "revitalize" the neighborhood, and though there aren't any definite tenants yet, the fancy supermarket or furniture store seem the most likely—since there's already an H&M being built nearby.
