When one retail door closes, sometimes another from its parent company opens right up. Massimo Dutti, a menswear, womenswear and childrenswear brand owned by Inditex, will be opening a shop on Fifth Avenue at 54th Street, after its current tenant, Zara, relocates two blocks to Fifth Avenue at 52nd Street.
This will be the brand's first US store, though it already has locations in 50 other countries. Not only do the ready-to-wear lines boast impeccable tailoring and carefully structured garments, but they also do made-to-order shoes. No word yet on what the store will encompass, but we're guessing that a company who already has every other part of the world covered isn't going to skimp on Fifth Avenue.
