Last Friday, beauty brand Kiehl's opened its newest Manhattan location at 400 W. 14th Street, across from the Apple Store in the Meatpacking District. The new space is dominated by a long table down the center and a display of neon signage along the back wall. Like the East Village flagship, the store has a timeline of Kiehl's history along the walls celebrating the venerable apothecary's 160-year-old history. And like the East Village flagship, there's a motorcycle on the premises—a tribute to owner Aaron Morse's penchant for collecting bikes and other wheeled gadgets. It's been a big week for Kiehls: They also debuted a dopp kit designed with the Sartorialist, with an extremely cute Father's Day ad campaign to match.
