Since 2007, Patrick Robinson has held the long-winded title of executive vice president of Gap Global Design for Adult and Body, but he was just let go after "seasons of lackluster sales." North American President Marka Hansen was also recently fired after a failed attempt at a logo change, and soon after the brand relocated its creative headquarters from San Francisco to New York. Rosella Giuliani, head of the Gap's 1969 denim product label, will hold the position while a replacement is found—and while the rest of us wonder "whether or not any one designer could actually save the Gap."
