Marc Jacobs invites you to a springtime wedding at his Bleecker Street store for two female mannequins, propped up behind window lettering that reads "Support New York Marriage Equality." The window features formal "You're Invited" script, two mannequins in sweet Marc Jacobs frocks, and flowers and chairs set up for the nuptials.
A longtime gay-rights activist, Jacobs created the window display in partnership with the Human Rights Campaign (which, by the way, is the nation's largest LGBT civil rights organization). He also recently designed a T-shirt with the group that depicts a lesbian couple and the words "I pay my taxes, I want my RIGHTS!"
