42-year-old jewelry line Gas Bijoux just added a new sibling to the family. Joining the existing two New York locations (one in Nolita and another on the Upper West Side) is a West Village shop, and while it may be the youngest, it's also the biggest. Located at Bleecker and Christopher Street, the store features a broad range of accessories (hats, watches, candles, fragrances) in addition to a large assemblage of glittering gems. Prices for the boho pieces go up to $400, but they start at $45, meaning that this is one Bleecker Street store that won't cut into your savings.
Interesting side note: Boutique owners Marnie and Pascal Legrand, who also run Blue Bag in Nolita, commissioned a special light fixture from sculptor Heike Buchfelder—the same one that appears in their other stores. The fixture consists of a giant ball of soft white feathers, making the shop look somewhat like a gallery space.
