March isn't traditionally sample sale season, but this week happens to feature not one, not two, but seven good reasons to open your wallet. Allow us to break them down for you, and look for Dealfeed listings with full details the day before each one officially begins.
.) Jewelry by hot sister-act label Dannijo starts at $10 in this Meatpacking sale, which runs all day Tuesday, March 22.
.) Quirky-sophisticated line United Bamboo—otherwise known as the label with feline models—takes up to 90% off samples and stock in Soho Tuesday and Wednesday, with every penny of the proceeds going to tsunami relief.
.) The semi-annual Hermès sale returns Wednesday with deals on luxury goods, bringing a herd of crazed scarf fans to the Garment District. We will, of course, be on hand for a lineblog and live-from-the-scene reports inside the sale.
.) Another day, another serious designer sale. Dolce & Gabbana begins at the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea on Thursday and runs through Sunday.
.) Also on Thursday, preppy staple J.Press kicks off a warehouse sale on Seventh Avenue and 29th Street. Get up to 80% off through Friday.
.) Of course, Thursday also brings us Phillip Lim, with unspecified discounts but proceeds going to support rebuilding and relief in Japan.
.) And lastly, on Friday, swimwear site Sirène Collection kicks off a sale with up to 85% off some of the coolest bathing suit brands in the business, including Zimmerman and Mara Hoffman. Sure, it's supposed to snow this week, but just having something this cheerful hanging in your closet should help make it feel a couple degrees warmer.
