Tomorrow, luxury men's footwear label Feit makes its NYC debut with Feit Made To Order, an LES pop-up shop. At the space at 186 Orchard Street, men can both preview and pre-order kicks from their upcoming collections. Feit is normally sold only online, so this marks the first time the shoes will ever be available in a brick-and-mortar store in North America.
The team at Feit wants to use the pop-up to personalize the shopping experience. Instead of the usual faceless exchange of shoes and money associated with the mass-produced footwear industry, the shop offers a real interaction between shoemaker and customer. Chat with co-founder Tull Price, order products that will be released over the next six months, and, if you're really obsessed, get bespoke shoes via their made-to-measure program. Just beware: Your new bespoke kicks can cost you up to $1,500. Don't say we didn't warn you.
The shop runs Thursday, March 17 through Sunday, March 20, 11am—6pm. Email
info@feitintl.com to set up a private appointment.
