We realize everything old is new again and the '70s are the new '90s which were essentially the new '80s or something. That wasn't totally coherent. What we're saying is, we know the swinging, polyester 1970s are having a moment and Adam definitely got the memo. The MePa shop's windows are crammed full of macramé—those ropey, dopey knotted and beaded decorative thingamajigs that every foyer in every as yet un-updated suburban split level tract house prominently features. Basically: Yuck. Even the owl isn't cute.
