Bond No. 9, the fragrance company that pairs various New York locales with representative scents has taken on an odd area of the city: the Bowery. The perfume is modeled after "the sweet scent of skid row transitioning to ultra-modernity. For contrarians of all genders, an enticing anti-perfume, composed of near dissonant florals, citruses and herbs." Lime, basil and wild lily aren't on the short list of smells we've noticed in that neighborhood, but then again, they sound a lot better than "the sweet scent of skid row". [Bowery Boogie]
