A tipster who lives at Perry and Bleecker sent us this photo of this letter posted in her building's lobby. Apparently not all the residents are happy about living near the giant lines and general tourist chaos attracted by the Marc by Marc Jacobs Accessories store. Here's the translation, since it's a bit hard to read:
PLEASE call...(212) 564-7453...Christine Quinn's Office, West Village District, if you have had or are having any community problems with Marc Jacobs business re traffic/employees, et cetera. *They will listen! Our informant says the author of the note has remained anonymous thus far, and that while the crowds and trash are always bad during the summer, there hasn't been any one specific incident that inspired the sign.
