Bon Appétit isn't the only institution with big plans for Fashion Week. Gordon Ramsey's midtown bar The London just announced a new specialty cocktail for the upcoming extravaganza. The drink mixes St. Germain, Prosecco, fresh strawberries and Grains of Paradise (an African spice); it's called The Gilded Lily, and at $17 it sounds gilded indeed.
Meanwhile, we're happy to report that Fashion Week staple 'Wichcraft will return this year. Between its outdoor kiosk and its indoor lunch table, 'Wichcraft was a huge part of Bryant Park, but we were a little worried that it wouldn't make the move to Lincoln Center. As it happens, though, the sandwich shop recently debuted an outpost in the Atrium, Lincoln Center's visitor center, where they plan to offer 10% off everything in stock to Fashion Week attendees with proper credentials. (According to the Lincoln Center folks, the Atrium will probably be open to the public, potentially making it a prime people-watching location even without that 10% discount.) 'Wichcraft will also be catering a few Fashion Week shows, as per usual.
