This week, we'll see a rare confluence of shoe sales lining up four days in a row like some sort of footwear eclipse. Here's the rundown: Tuesday kicks off the excitement with up to 75% off tough, sexy heels and boots from Loeffler Randall on DailyCandy's sale website Swirl. Since it's online, consider this a sort of practice run—a way to hone your chops before facing down flesh-and-blood competitors in the sample sale trenches.
Wednesday, the fun really begins with a big Sigerson Morrison blowout at the Metropolitan Pavilion. Expect about 70% off sleek, ladylike heels and flats plus another 60% off the brand's equally sophisticated diffusion line Belle. (The New York Times listed some pertinent details last week.) Thursday, of course, is the Manolo Blahnik sale, an event that's always somewhat shrouded in mystery. Stilettos start at $100, so it's totally worth braving the line if you're free that morning. And any shopping hangover you might be suffering by Friday can be cured with a hair of the dog in the form of the Matt Bernson sale, which won't be relaxed, exactly (see last year's coverage) but will be much more gentle on your wallet. Sandals start at $40, and the sale runs all weekend.
Update: The Loeffler Randall sale, which just went live, looks to be womenswear-only.
