Yesterday evening we discovered that not only is hip French label Isabel Marant due to open her first NYC store, but that it'll be ready to go by this weekend. To be more specific, the planned date is this Friday, April 9, and so naturally we swung by the store to sniff out their progress.
As of right now, the shop is completely empty and hardly prepared to open in a few days unless they lay the smack down and throw some of their cute $300 swing jackets and filmy $160 tank tops in there. That said, the interior design should be quite interesting once properly revealed; some sculpted wood elements we spied could be very cool.
