Tucked inside an item about J.Crew's new collaboration with venerable costume jewelry line Miriam Haskell is this absolute bombshell from our savvy sister Racked National: "We've been hearing rumors that J. Crew will be expanding its bridal offerings and will open a standalone bridal store on the Upper East Side of Manhattan later this year." Lots of companies have been getting into the bridal game lately, but J.Crew is an old hand at producing lovely and affordable wedding gowns, not to mention bridesmaid dresses that you could actually wear again (as opposed to bridesmaid dresses that the bride thinks you could wear again, which is a very different category of clothing.) If you're getting married in the next year or so, this could be very good news.
