Who's ready for yet another concept pop-up shop? If you've walked down Mulberry anytime in the last few days, you'll notice quite of bit of activity in the Openhouse Gallery; it's the skateboarding pop-up from Quiksilver and Autumn skate shop, which boasts more than just the usual skater wear with a full half-pipe ramp and skating competitions.
Open only until August 29, the Quiksilver skatepark is open from 11am-7pm to the public for both browsing and skateboarding, and the final competition will be held on Saturday evening.

When the pop-up closes down after they've handed out the skateboarding crown on Saturday, the massive ramp won't simply go to waste; Quiksilver is set on donating it to a school in need: "This ramp will end up in a New York City park within the next month after we break it down or possibly a school yard in lower Manhattan."
Now if only every pop-up would donate something to the city, we'd be an island full of ping-pong tables and DJ booths, which doesn't sound all that bad.
