The more, the merrier? Versace just signed a retail lease for 4,300 square feet at 75 Greene Street, The Real Deal reports. That's mere two-tenths of a mile from its other Soho store at 160 Mercer Street, and it used to be the home of Moods of Norway. Other retail locations in the city include the Fifth Avenue and Columbus Circle.
It doesn't look like Versace is planning to exit Mercer Street any time soon, so let the speculation begin: The Shophound guesses that the brand could do separate men's and women's stores, or it might be planning a dedicated outpost for Versus Versace. Either way, we'll be on the lookout for an opening date and hopefully some Donatella sightings.
