Citing huge wait lists as a need to add more classes, Flex Studios is adding a second location in Noho, Well + Good reports. The boutique studio that offers TRX, barre, and Pilates on its chair-reformer hybrid FlexFormer machines—plus classes that combine some or all of these workouts—plans to open at the corner of Broadway and Bleecker Street around the beginning of summer.
"It was important for the brand to grow," studio owner Jeanette Simon told the site. Flex Studios opened three years ago at its current Union Square digs as part of a national chain before branching out on its own.
There's nothing quite like Flex in Noho yet, despite the neighborhood's recent influx of fitness studios—Mile High Run Club, Barry's Bootcamp, and a new Crunch location came to the area in the past year alone. Be on the lookout for an official opening date in the coming months.
