The will-they-won't-they saga of Diesel's midtown moves may have arrived at a surprising conclusion: Along with its new lease at 625 Madison Avenue, Diesel may be keeping its Fifth Avenue flagship store once it undergoes construction.
Currently, the Fifth Avenue outpost is not listed on the company's website and is covered in plywood, directing shoppers to Diesel's other stores, though the Shophound notes that the text above it reads "Under Construction." One possibility: The forthcoming Madison Avenue store could be dedicated to a different line (Diesel Black Gold, perhaps?), but we've reached out to a rep for comment and will update when we hear back.
