Downtown sugar fiends will soon have one less reason to venture north of Union Square: Dylan's Candy Bar just signed a 10-year lease on its second NYC store at 33 Union Square West, an address that once belonged to Andy Warhol's (equally colorful) Factory.
The NY Daily News reports that sadly, the new 3,000-square-foot shop won't be open in time for the next three candy-centric holidays: Halloween, the winter holidays, or even Valentine's Day. Instead, Dylan's Candy Bar is expected to move in next spring, so it could be around in time for Dylan's goodies to make it inside your next Easter basket.
