Michael Kors already has a boutique at 101 Prince Street in Soho, but according to today's Between the Bricks column, it's getting a new flagship at 520 Broadway. That address is currently occupied by Club Monaco, and the Post reports that construction on the new Michael Kors store will begin once Club Monaco exits.
As for the move, Gary Dana of Dana Commercial Group at Douglas Elliman explained: "We have been looking for them for a year in Soho, and they wanted a big splash." The new shop, clocking in at 15,000 square feet, three levels, and situated close to the corner of Spring Street, should do the trick.
